Not intended for use on vinyl, linoleum, cork, wood, or bamboo flooring JonCrete® High Gloss Sealer Use Directions DIRECTIONS FOR USE FOR CONCRETE FLOORS Always follow use instructions for referenced products. Inspect the Floor: If the floor is heavily contaminated or shows the presence of curing compounds or coatings, refer to the appropriate removal instructions from original product supplier. Blockade areas to be sealed or stripped. Floors will be very slippery until dry. Prepare the Floor: 1. Dustmoporsweepfloor. 2. For Lightly Soiled Areas: Machine scrub with a 1:64 (2 fl.oz./gal.) solution of JonCrete® Daily Cleaner (Accumix® System) and a soft brush or pad. For Heavily Soiled Areas: Machine scrub with JonCrete® Concrete Restorer. Allow solution to soak for 5-10 minutes then scrub with a soft brush or pad. Note: Do not use JonCrete® Concrete Restorer on surface colored or acid dyed concrete floors. 3. Flood the floor with water and agitate with a stiff brush or pad. Keep floor very wet throughout this procedure. Pick-up water immediately following agitation. 4. Flood rinse thoroughly with plain water, then squeegee or wet vac to ensure that excess water and loose concrete particles (laitance) are removed. 5. Allowfloortodrythoroughly. Coat the Floor: 1. Apply3-4uniformfullcoatsusingamop,rollerorothersuitableapplicator. 2. Allow 1-2 hours drying time between coats. Open to foot traffic after 4 hours. Maintenance: 1. Dustmoporsweepasnecessary. 2. Clean daily with JonCrete® Daily Cleaner at 1:512 (1 fl. oz./4 gal.) using an autoscrubber or swing machine with wet vac. Red pads or medium stiff Recoating/Topcoating: 1. Followthemaintenancecleaningprocedures,rinseandletdry. 2. Recoat with 1-2 uniform full coats or topcoat with any recommended Diversey floor finish. 3. Equipmentshouldbecleanedimmediatelyafterusewithwater. Removal: 1. Sealercanberemovedbyscrubbingwithanabrasivepadormoderate brush under a rotary floor machine using a recommended Diversey floor stripper (see JonCrete® Program Training Guide for further instructions). 2. Rinse thoroughly and let floor dry before re-applying. NOTE: For acid stained or surface dyed concrete floors, strip only with JonCrete® Decorative Concrete Stripper using rotary floor machine and appropriate pad or brush. Terrazzo Floors: Prepare and coat the floor. Strip the floor with any recommended Diversey floor stripper following label use instructions. Apply 2 coats of concrete sealer. Topcoat with any Diversey floor finish. Refer to application guide for additional information on terrazzo floors. Maintenance and Recoat/Topcoat Procedures: Follow normal maintenance procedures for the respective topcoat finish applied. NOTE: Floors will be slippery when wet or contaminated with foreign materials. Promptly clean-up spills and foreign materials. Meets ASTM D-2047 requirement for slip resistance. Not intended for use in outdoor areas. FOR BEST RESULTS • Not recommended for use on resilient floors • Not recommended on concrete that is less than 30 days old. • Test for adhesion in small patches before finishing entire area • Do not dilute • Do not use on surfaces colder than 10°C/50°F • To avoid contamination, do not return unused product to original container brushes are recommended. 3.
